When I think back to home, I think of what I could see outside my window How I’d hear voices talk below, see commuters driving home At night I’d see women change clothes; I’d see drunks swap their bottles I’d see police out on patrol… It’s my home… Have a little, talk a little, you won’t be alone Just welcome home… Life in, Philadelphia It’s all I know… And I’m welcome home. When I think back to home, I think of all the places I could go Spend the summer down the shore, drive back to Philly for the fall Take a train down to the stadium, at night drive over to Manayunk Stay out until you see the sun… Just like home… Have a little, talk a little, you won’t be alone Just welcome home… Life in, Philadelphia It’s all I know… And I’m welcome home.

Summer Girl 03:52
The rain falls down into the trees, which block the drops with their, their leaves... The water is needed to a degree; the sun will jump up when it pleases.... And as it does, we’ll make do with our time, sleep in the dark and wake up when it shines... Sit ourselves down and sip some wine, accept what it’s telling us, accept these signs... Accept these signs,... All in due time,... Except these signs The crickets chirp and the shore’s so far,... I got summer but it’s cool in the dark... Yet, I can see the ocean, I see it in you… The summer’s not gone, it’s peaking through… My summer girl The summer moon and the fire flies, they slide and dance all around the sky... They give me tools, give me the sight, to see all the time that’s in our eyes... But, clocks get lost in this haze, we ramble back on to those days... When we were younger and we were not fazed, by all the time and how life, it has changed.. In so many ways,... How life changed… Change, change… The crickets chirp and the shore’s so far,... I got summer but it’s cool in the dark... Yet, I can see the ocean, I see it in you… The summer’s not gone, it’s peaking through… My summer girl My summer, my summer, my summer girl My summer, my summer girl My summer, my summer girl....

Got Hope 03:44
They can’t take this away, away from me It’s something I hid, Oh… I buried Yeh, it’s lying at home, guarded on my inside No one can steal what’s inside my mind… I got hope. Inside. Society likes to break things, including hope They look for fear, they’ll try to expose it But, I can always reach down, find my hope inside Because they can’t destroy what they can’t divide… Hope. I got hope. Inside. Frankl said, “what’s to give light, must endure burning.” I say, “just like the earth, we can’t change without turning” Yeh, minutes turn to days, got to start with me, with right now I hope it adds things up past my human heartbeat countdown… Hope. I got hope. Inside. They can’t take this away, away from me It’s something I hid, Oh… I buried Yeh, it’s lying at home, guarded on my inside No one can steal what’s inside my mind…

A dark haired man sits on a stool in a bar and says, “give me another round” Jack says, “Jim, you don’t look so good”. Jim says, “give me another round” Jack - “What happened to you yesterday?” Jim – “Man, I woke up and everything changed, just give me another round. I mean it all happened so fast, I just want to wake up and go back. And get another round” Well have another round… “But, I can’t go back now” And the liquid hits his lips, as the ice hits his brain Then he’s back, back and it’s all the same Despite this second chance, he doesn’t change.. He’s back at the bar again… Teleporting A tall blone sits at a hotel bar with an empty glass and says “give me another round” Tears ruined her makeup, she doesn’t care, she sneers “give me another round” She takes a look at her watch, it’s bruised and battered like her touch “Can I please get another round?” I could have made him reconsider, I know that I could do better if I could just get another round” Well have another round… “But, I can’t go back now” And the liquid hits her lips, as the ice hits her brain Then she’s back, back and it’s all the same Despite this second chance, she doesn’t change.. She’s back at the bar again… Teleporting (have another round) Teleporting…

These nights pass by, with the wink of an eye... then we see, the sun rise again. These lights go out, they do all around town... tomorrow they will shine, shine again. So, let's just rest for now. Let's just slow ourselves down. There's plenty of time, around the bend. Around the bend, it's just the beginning. We can close our eyes, and dream of the skies, we will watch... the world turn again. We can dream our dreams, let our minds stitch the seams, tomorrow we will laugh, laugh again. So let's just rest for now, let's just slow ourselves down. We know this is not the end. No, not the end... Just the beginning. Pull the covers up. Place our trust above. We will... fall asleep. Fall asleep, in the beginning

When I wake up, in the morning, I reach for my eyes, and I find sight in my mind. When I sleep, in the night, I wait for answers, and I find them, inside. But, as I age, the more I understand the more.. I'm lost. And, in my youth, the less I knew the less the cost. So Please Pat, slow down, you’re moving too fast No, please, slap (say it), turn around, this won’t last This day, no it, won’t last I got to slow down Just say that it won’t last Reach up and reset the alarm now So we walk, in the evening, we reach for each other, and we find ourselves. And in one another, this feeling, propels us to drift on with what we are dealt But I wake up, there's no answer, and I search but I'm alone . when I sleep, there’s the answer, but in the morning they’re all gone. So Please Pat, slow down, you’re moving too fast No, please, slap, turn around, this won’t last This day, no it, won’t last I got to slow down Just say that it won’t last Reach up, reset the alarm now

Two more days, five more days, I have no clue But, someday soon, I’m going to get to meet you You’re stuck inside, it’s always night, but here comes a sun And when you come, spring will sprung, you’ll be welcome So, welcome, welcome, welcome… welcome You’re welcome (You’re at the door) So welcome (There’s so much more) You’re welcome (Just step forward) Welcome I’ll hold you close, I’ll kiss your nose, it’ll be heaven And with your Mom, we’ll greet our love with arms open And on a step, a pineapple sits to greet the sun And when you come, you’ll bring our love, you’ll be welcome So, welcome, welcome, welcome… welcome You’re welcome (You’re at the door) So welcome (There’s so much more) You’re welcome (Just step forward) Welcome Two more days, five more days, I have no clue But, someday soon, I’m going to get to meet you

Now that you’re here, I can think about tomorrow I see my life’s reflection in your eyes, but I don’t know where it will take you All I know is how much I care, and I wish I could say I’d always be here But, life goes fast, got to hang on to what lasts… My memory of you is crystal clear. From the first seconds, you’ve been engrained in my mind, my mind Your eyes gazed at me like light cast from the sky You touched my life through my eyes And when your little hand wrapped around my finger It was the other way around, I was enamored… I was a Father… And this is a letter for a daughter… My daughter. And with all that’s changed, I feel a sense of peace inside It’s evident as we breathe in and out, as I hold you in my arms tonight But, I know that this stage is fleeting and one day you’ll be out on your own Just know that there’s a place for you here, my arms will always be open.

Buzzed, grabs some cash and shouts to a bartender, "give me one, give me two" He turns, and his friends, hand him another one, tonight one just won't do Shifts and shuffles off towards his right, she sits down right on cue Scared but he decides to approach her, "Hi, how are you?" And I said it, and I meant it, even then And I said it, and I meant it, everything Cause this is how it was, I'm sure This is real love, blurred There's no clouds above, I'm sure There's no clouds above, I'm cured. Sober, grabs a chair and sits down with her, the pitchers drying up He turns and his friends drop off another one, a pitcher that won't be touched Shifts and shuffles off for his phone, she says the numbers , one by one He takes his phone and enters her name,.. the curtains they go up. And I said it, and I meant it, even then And I said it, and I meant it, everything Cause this is how it was, I'm sure This is real love, blurred There's no clouds above, I'm sure There's no clouds above, I'm cured. Buzzed, grabs some cash and shouts to a bartender.. Buzzed, grabs some cash and shouts to a bartender... Buzzed, grabs some cash... Buzzed, grabs some cash, Buzzed, grabs some cash... and puts it back in his pocket.

I can’t tell you where I was yesterday, I can’t tell you where I am going I can look back, I can open up, I can sway I can turn around, I can stand it up and do it all today But, back off if the tracks off, don’t be afraid I’ve learned, I’ve turned, this is the right way It’s the right way to go… I’m pushing my soul right past… Bettin’ on a compass. I can tell you when I am sorry, you can tell me when I get lost in me I can look back, I can see it all, I change It’s hard to look out when so many look in today But, back off if the tracks off, don’t be afraid I’ve learned, I’ve turned, this is the right way It’s the right way to go… I’m pushing my soul right past… Bettin’ on a compass. Confidence… in a compass. Confidence in my compass.

A dark fin rises in life’s ocean. Anxiety forms along the shore A distant sign floating in the open You’re unaware of what swims below What swims below It swims below. When it finally comes in sight, another heart beats fast for life A warning through the quiet someone willing to fight it Pushing through A life to rescue. The beast rises towards its prey you feel the warmth in the panic A open path closes in the waves, there’s a tint of red in the splashes It swims below It swims below. Then the lifeguard comes into sight, another heart beats fast for life A swim against the tide, someone willing to fight it Pushing through Your life’s in rescue. You’re brought to shore

Ebb n Flow 04:06
The translucence of a rain drop, the opaque feeling when it hits your eye How a life can look up for hope and really believe hope floats in the sky But is the source actually deep down, in the midst of our hearts, all the way inside? Is that where our hope lives? Does it flow to our brain, and fuel the burn of our life? cause when it flows (it knows where to go) with no eyes when it flows (it floods right through) ebb and do not rise until we flow, it just goes... So many reasons to look up, politicians, bureaucrats, governments and lies So many reasons to lose hope, but somehow we find this comfort in the sky Despite the water that flows through us and the full moon that glows at night we lay down to sleep, unlike the tides, we do not rise until we flow (we know where to go) with no eyes until we flow (floods right through) ebb and do not rise until we flow, Ebb and flow... there's and ebb n flow to our life Ebb and flow... there's an ebb n flow to our life we ebb and flow... ...yes we do.

Jack's Song 03:54
If we are what we eat, then we are what we are. There's so much in our minds. There's so much in the dark. But, the sun will come back. It will always rise. We've got nothing to lose, if we open up sometimes. Cause there's a light on. There's a right side, wrong. We've got our lights on. Just open up our souls. Cause it's all, it's all calm. The worries are, the worries are all gone. It's all, it's all calm. The worries are, the worries are all gone. The waves go in and out. Feet can get stuck in the sand. Learn a lesson from the tide and don't try to fight the current. Just take a step up. And with each passing wave, learn to dance with love, and know that your life is safe. Cause there's a light on. There's a right side, wrong. We've got our lights on. Just open up our souls. Cause it's all, it's all calm. The worries are, the worries are all gone. It's all, it's all calm. The worries are, the worries are all gone. Welcome home. It's been so long. Welcome home. Welcome home. It's been so long. Welcome home. If I go to heaven, I want to hear Jack's song. If I go to heaven, I want to hear Jack's song. If I go to heaven, I want to hear this song.
